Nestlé UK has launched an iPhone app to help raise awareness of Nestlé as an employer of choice to external applicants, and help them search for jobs.
By downloading the app, potential candidates will be able to search for jobs and be notified of any roles that fit their criteria. It also offers insights into working at Nestlé - its people, culture and values.
In addition, it incorporates a Twitter feed, Google maps and video content from YouTube aimed at attracting and sourcing talent for Nestlé in the market. Amanda Jailer, head of recruitment, Nestlé UK & Ireland, said: "Over the next few years, it is expected that the majority of job searches will be done by mobile devices.
"As a result, the Nestlé recruitment team is ahead of the curve and has taken an important milestone in its social media strategy with the launch of the Nestlé Careers app. "
The app is available on ITunes and the equivalent android app store.
