Saudagar Singh has joined Mitchells & Butlers as group human resources, service and productivity director.

Singh who joins the restaurant and bar chain on 24 May, was formerly HR director at RWE NPower.

Mitchells & Butlers is the chain behind Harvester, Vintage Inns, Crown Carveries, Hollywood Bowl, Toby Carvery, Browns, Ember Inns, Miller & Carter, Innkeeper's Lodge, O'Neill's, Sizzling Pub Co and Nicholson's. M&B has a turnover of some £2 billion and employs 42,000 people.

Singh's position operates out of Mitchells & Butlers head office in the city centre of Birmingham.

He said: "I'm delighted to be joining M&B and look forward to working with my new colleagues to further enhance the success of the Company."
