Ocado is to create 2,200 new jobs with upon completion of its new distribution centre.
The company, which is responsible for selling and delivering food for Waitrose, is expected to complete the new centre over the next two years.
A spokeswoman for Ocado said: "The company is currently considering five sites to build the centre. The jobs will follow when the site is completed."
Ocado had no further information at this stage.
