Employees at North Lincolnshire Council are being given the opportunity to take part in a Cycles2Work scheme.
Under the scheme, set up and managed by P&MM for the council, staff can lease bicycles up to the value of £1,000 and pay for them through salary sacrifice over a 12-month period. They can also buy cycling safety equipment and clothing, saving as much as 40% on the normal retail value.
Councillor Mick Grant, said: "As one of the area's largest employers, North Lincolnshire Council has a duty to try and lead by example. The council is always working with its partners to try and encourage local residents to be greener, healthier, savvy with finances and safer on our roads - so it's only right we show our workforce how this can be made possible."
