Incisive Media staff asked to take one week off unpaid at Christmas

Incisive Media has asked staff to take a week's unpaid leave in order to minimise job losses.

The business-to-business publisher, which is responsible for titles such as Professional Pensions, Professional Adviser, Accountancy Age and the Softworld event, asked staff to take one week off unpaid over Christmas. The week's pay will be deducted in instalments over the forthcoming financial year.

The firm, which employs 700 staff in the UK, hopes the initiative will save £1 million.
