Reddich Borough Council has updated its temporary recruitment requirements to increase transparency and efficiency and plans to make a 20% saving on its recruitment spend.
The organisation is working with Commensura, which will automate job advertisements, CV gathering and the monitoring of recruitment agencies.
Angela Heighway, head of strategy and partnerships at the council, said: "The system will ensure equality and fairness for the temporary worker. Comensura set standardised pay rates, ensuring there is pay parity among all our non-permanent staff, regardless of what agencies they came from."
