More than a third (37%) of business travellers cheat on their partners while they are on work trips 8% even admit to joining the mile high club but not with their regular partner.
A survey from The Business Travel Show reports 56% of business travellers never leave a hotel room without packing the complimentary toiletries and 23% have ‘accidentally' packed guest towels or dressing gowns.
Almost two thirds (65%) tag holidays onto the end of their business trips and 44% sneak their partners along.
David Chapple, Business Travel Show event director, said: "Who would have thought the business traveller was such an adventurous being. [These statistics] show they're certainly aware how to strike a happy work/life balance when travelling on business."
But more than a third (39%) of business travellers rely on their laptops while on a work trip abroad and 29% need their BlackBerry.
Two out of five business travellers (42%) are working to a tighter budget while away, because of the credit crunch, although more than a fifth (20.2%) have no intention of taking fewer business trips.
