Diageo has boosted employee morale by allowing 130 high-performing employees to meet Formula One celebrities Lewis Hamilton and Mika Hakkinen.
The chosen employees had performed outstandingly in the first half of the current financial year and were invited to an exclusive reception at Diageo's UK headquarters on Friday.
Hamilton and Hakkinen were in London to reinforce the Johnnie Walker anti-drink drive campaign. The pair reminded staff never to drink and drive and to make sure they appointed a designated driver or used public transport to get home safely over the holiday season.
Hamilton said: "Ever since I passed my driving test, whenever I go out with my friends I'm always happy to be the designated driver. That way I know everyone gets home safely."
