Three quarters of HR directors are not totally confident the IT graduates they are recruiting are equipped with the best skills to safeguard core software assets.
According to research from software firm Micro Focus, only a fifth of HRDs are totally confident there is enough knowledge and skills in their organisations to maintain their core IT assets for the future.
And more than two thirds (67%) think their organisation needs to invest in people development for IT compared to only 30% who think their organisation should invest in people development in sales and marketing.
