Coventry University has updated its HR and payroll operations.
The university will bring together all data on its 2,800 employees onto one platform. It plans to introduce a payroll system by April 2009 and self-service HR for staff and an online recruitment tool after that.
After a tendering process the organisation has chosen Midland HR's iTrent model to implement the scheme.
Wendy Taylor, project manager at Coventry University, said: "The university determined there was a sound business care for an improved HR and payroll system to maximise efficiency through the use of workflow and self service, and a need for excellent information on the university's main resource, its staff."
