Stephen Kelly has left his role as director of people at the BBC to become group HRD at Logica.
Kelly will join the IT and business services company in the new year and have responsibility for rolling out the new people strategy the company announced in April. This includes implementing further cultural integration across the firm and ensuring HR supports Logica's overall business strategy.
Kelly said: "I'm joining Logica at a very exciting time and am very much looking forward to helping further cultivate a dynamic working environment for all of Logica's people. I will be supporting the business strategy by ensuring the right incentives and processes are in place to empower Logica's talented people around the world."
While at the BBC Kelly was responsible for the strategic and operational HR function across the UK and internationally, including safety and learning and development.
He has also held senior HR roles at BT, Balfour Beatty, British Rail and National Provident Institution.
Andy Green, CEO of Logica, said: "We are delighted Stephen Kelly is joining the executive team at Logica. His extensive international people and change management experience will be of real benefit as we implement the programme for growth. His last two roles have shown how skilled he is at nurturing innovation in teams and individuals and his approach is a great cultural fit for Logica and we will look forward to working with him."
