Almost half of UK employees (45%) feel they are not learning in their job, and 85% would like to head back to university this autumn if they were given the chance, compared with the global average of 81%.
According to Monster, 40% of staff would like to return to university to help them achieve their career goals. However, 15% said that they were happy with their jobs and lives as they were.
Julian Acquari, managing director of Monster in the UK and Ireland, said: "One of the first things many jobseekers look for is evidence of solid training and a clear growth path."
He added: "If an employee doesn't feel challenged it can cause demotivation and reduced productivity, as well as their potential departure."
