Young marketers fail in the area that is most crucial to their job.
According to a survey of 400 by The Marketers Forum, only 22% thought they were good at presenting. This is despite the fact more than two thirds (67%) think this skill is critical to their job.
Quentin Crowe, managing director of The Marketers Forum, said: "The survey plus anecdotal evidence shows there is a gap in the market for a creative and innovative answer to presentation skills training."
The survey also showed that most marketers blamed deficiencies in their school and university education for low levels of confidence and skills when presenting.
