Marks & Spencer gets ready for Christmas with major temporary staff recruitment drive

Mark & Spencer has launched a nationwide drive to recruit 20,000 employees for the Christmas period in stores in the UK and Ireland.

Steve Rowe, director of retail at M&S said: "Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without your M&S. That's why we're looking for 20,000 more friendly and enthusiastic employees to help our customers find exactly what they need to celebrate Christmas.

"We offer an excellent benefits package, and all our new recruits take part in a two-day induction training session so that they are fully-equipped to ensure our customers receive the best possible service."
