Staff at G4S Events have completed a foundation degree in crowd safety management.
Four employees at the security firm completed the degree in conjunction with Bucks New University, while a further 388 staff successfully attended a pit safety course and managing director Mark Hamilton received a Master of Arts in leadership and management from the university.
The four crowd safety management graduates completed the course through a distance-learning scheme using a mix of work-based learning, specialist skills development, tutoring and project-based studies.
Hamilton said: "Training is core to our operational success. The qualifications offered by Bucks New University provide a theoretical basis on which students can build their understanding of crowd dynamics and their management and leadership skills. I am delighted to see so many of our staff graduating this year and hope they get as much value from the qualifications as I have."
