Work-life balance is the most popular equality issue about which people ask for advice from trade unions.
According to the TUC's Equality Audit, 65% of unions were asked for advice about general equality issues, 65% were asked for work-life balance information and 63% received requests about women's pay and equality.
More than half the unions surveyed (51%) negotiate agreements for working parents and carers with employers, 44% secure work-life balance agreements and 37% negotiate policies on age.
