Taleo has launched an online talent community to allow employers and jobseekers to collaborate on talent management issues via social networking.
The system, which is the first of its kind, will allow employers to recruit talent, offer insights and solve problems.
The system incorporates an online social network (like Facebook), a talent exchange (like eBay) where employers can connect with jobseekers, and a solution exchange (like AppStore) where Taleo partners can manage and adapt their solutions.
Michael Gregoire, chairman and CEO of Taleo, said: "We recognise the power of great talent management to transform and lead business performance. Beyond innovative software, the true catalyst for putting talent management at the centre of business change will come from the world's domain experts.
"We are delighted to galvanise the world's largest talent management ecosystem of experts-our customers, partners, employees and candidates. Together, we have built a Talent Grid that will empower businesses of all sizes to transform their workforces and their business performance."
