Canary Wharf Group has launched a skills development programme for newly-appointed team leaders to enhance their management skills.

The course, which is also designed for those wishing to progress to management level, will cover management style, communication, leadership and self-awareness skills.

The property developer is working with coaching and leadership training provider Unlimited Potential to deliver the scheme.

Canary Wharf Group's training adviser, Parmitha Tahid, said: "We have a robust learning and development programme in place and are committed to ensuring we provide high standards of training throughout the organisation.

"During a recent round of appraisals, we identified training need for newly promoted supervisors, or staff looking for promotion. It was important the training course implemented was detailed and comprehensive to ensure employees obtained maximum benefit."
