The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is to scrap charges on 250 of its online health and safety guides from September in a bid to make workplaces safer.
The comprehensive guides can be downloaded as PDFs from the HSE website.
Paul Darby, technical director of health and safety and environmental training company Pivotal Performance, said: "The HSE is removing all barriers for any business to truly understand and apply good health and safety.
"I hope this leads to even fewer people hurt or killed at work. That will be a real result."
