Aviva is launching a new reward and peer recognition scheme so staff can nominate colleagues for additional perks to thank them for their efforts.
The points-based system will be run through a website enabling the company's 22,000 UK-based staff to send e-cards to colleagues and put forward individuals and teams for rewards.
Nominations will then be submitted to line managers who can decide what level of reward the employee deserves. They will then award an appropriate number of points to the staff member, who can select his or her own gift from a selection including cinema tickets, watches, jewellery, vouchers and experience days.
The scheme, provided by P&MM, is part of the ‘My Aviva Reward' site where staff can access all the firm's employee benefits.
Helen Jackson, rewards director at Aviva, said: "The scheme is about saying thank you to everyone who displays the behaviours that live up to the Aviva brand. It is a very impressive scheme that is easy to use and implement."
