Travelodge creates 250 jobs and focuses on long-term unemployed

Travelodge is set to open 12 new hotels across the UK, creating 250 new jobs.

The budget hotel chain will be working with Job Centre Plus to fill the entry level positions with roles directed at long term unemployed people.

The planned new hotels in Bristol, Poole, Stockport, Maidenhead, Camberley, Chichester, Brombrough, Chesham, Norwich, Colwyn Bay, Morecambe and Newton Abbott are part of the firms £70 million investment programme.
