Azzurri Communications has implemented an online flexible benefits scheme for its 700 employees.
The communications company has gone through 16 acquisitions since June 2000 and hoped to use the flex platform as a means of harmonising benefits - including its 17 pension schemes.
Working with Thomsons Online Benefits, the company launched online pensions in October 2008 and flexible benefits and online total reward statements in April this year, commencing communications shortly after.
Face-to-face meetings with staff and personalised telephone calls as well as online communications ensured a take-up of 75% from staff.
Noel McGonigle, HR director at Azzurri, said: "As we have grown so quickly as a result of so many acquisitions, managing and communicating our reward package had become an increasingly complicated and time-consuming task. We now have one reward structure and brand that unites our people in line with our ‘One Azzurri' culture and our future expansion."
