Ford of Britain has launched a new payroll and time and attendance system.
The company is working with Crown Computing and Logica to implement the technology, which replaces a previous bespoke system that was difficult to manage and administer.
The new system will run time, attendance, payroll and activity management for 13,000 salaried and hourly-paid staff in the UK. It will take approximately 18 to 20 months to implement and it is hoped the scheme will be completed by December 2010.
