Mark Moorton, international HR director at Specsavers, has left the organisation to join Mercer as its HR director

Moorton has held the role at Specsavers since April 2009, where over the past year he has strengthened HR representation in the labs and launched a people strategy in the Netherlands.

Before joining Specsavers, he was HRD at health insurance provider AXA PPP for nine years. Prior to this position, he was HR director at publishing and media company Centaur Communications and HR manager for Seeboard's supply business.

Moorton, who finished at Specsavers last month, is set to join Mercer on 15 August as its HR director.
