Collis joined Bupa's senior leadership team on 1 June and reports to chief executive Ray King. She replaces Bob Watson, who is retiring from Bupa after 15 years as group HR director. Collis leads the global HR function and will work closely with Bupa's businesses around the world to deliver the group's strategic agenda.

She joins Bupa, having run her own business for the past 12 months, specialising in people strategy and leadership development. Prior to this she was group HR director for 3i Group. She began her career with Ford Motor Company and has also held senior HR roles at Arthur Andersen, Midland Bank, HSBC, James Capel and Standard Chartered Bank.
