Chris Bones is to step down as dean of Henley Business School on 31 July 2010.
Bones was appointed principal of Henley Management College in 2004, becoming dean of Henley Business School at the University of Reading following the merger in 2008. He says: "At the time of the merger I felt, in agreement with the vice-chancellor, that my role should be defined by the challenge to deliver a merged school with a strong leadership team. After this we believed the school would benefit from a new dean with no 'history'." Bones has been a regular columnist for HR magazine since 2002.
