Bernard Charles joins Heartwood

Bernard Charles has joined Heartwood as head of HR.

In his role at the wealth management firm, Charles will be responsible for designing and implementing a tailored HR strategy that will enable the company to attract and retain the talent required to reach the next phase of its development. He will join Heartwood's executive committee. Charles's career in HR spans 16 years and he joins from Standard Bank where he was HR portfolio head and led the HR business partnering function for the front office. Prior to that, he was head of HR at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group.
