Jean Lindsay has been promoted to director of human resources at the Forestry Commission.
Lindsay will be based at the Commission's Edinburgh office, in charge of the HR requirements of more than 3,300 staff. She will work to implement the forestry polices of the UK, Scottish and Welsh Assembly governments. She has worked at the Commission since 1983 and has been a member of the HR department since 1994. She was appointed HR services manager in 2001 and moves from her most recent position of HR business partner for Forestry Commission Scotland to take up her new role.
