Nearly half of job hunters say a companys environmental policy would strongly influence their choice of employer.
According to research from jobs.co.uk, increasing numbers of high-calibre job applicants are looking for employers with a green conscience. More than two thirds of respondents say they it would have some effect on which firms they chose to apply to.
Results also show that being able to access an organisations CSR policy, charity support programme or green policy from their website would boost green credentials.

Employers are increasingly expected not only to mitigate against their environmental impact, but to make a tangible, positive contribution to improving the environment.
