Appointment: Worcestershire County Council

Patrick Birch has been appointed director of corporate services (including IT, HR and legal) at Worcestershire County Council. Birch joined Hereford and Worcester County Council in 1995, progressing through a number of finance-related roles, the latest as head of the social services' business support service.
