A member of the group executive committee and director of McCarthy & Stone’s main operating company, Jordan is responsible for the group’s people function and sits on the CSR and health and safety committees.
Jordan’s main areas of expertise include leading organisations through major change, driving and coaching for high performance, talent acquisition and development, and remuneration and benefits strategy. She also led the people workstream in McCarthy & Stone’s IPO in 2015.
Jordan is passionate about working with her executive colleagues to deliver excellent commercial results for McCarthy & Stone through people, and is proud to have been recognised by HR magazine as one of the best HR directors in her sector for the fifth year running.
Before joining McCarthy & Stone in 2008 Jordan’s career was primarily in financial services and telecoms. Key roles include associate HR director at Portman Building Society, HR director of corporate markets at Cable & Wireless, HR director of Barclays Private Bank, and HR director of the markets division of Barclays Capital (now Barclays Investment Bank).
Away from work Jordan’s interests are many and varied and centre around family, friends, entertaining and France where she and her husband own a house. She is also a keen off-road cyclist and walker, which enables her to indulge her twin passions of exercise and the natural world.
