The ranking comprises of the top 30 HR practitioners, top 25 UK thinkers and top 20 international thinkers. It will be unveiled in front of HR directors from some of the biggest organisations in the world, as well as academics representing the best of UK and global HR and management thinking.
The HR Most Influential ranking is in its eighth year and celebrates the growing influence and demonstrative value that HR brings to organisations.
Last year saw NHS Employers' director Dean Royles named most influential HR practitioner and professor of organisational change at Cranfield School of Management David Denyer named as the most influential UK thinker.
Last year special lifetime achievement awards were presented to David Fairhurst, chief people officer Europe at McDonald's, and Dave Ulrich, professor of business at Ross Business School, University of Michigan.
They joined the 2011 lifetime achievement winner, author Charles Handy, in HR magazine's Most Influential Hall of Fame.
Every year, HR magazine compiles the HR Most Influential ranking based on elements such as:

- Commands the respect of peers and key stakeholders
