Help HR magazine illustrate the importance of diversity for UK employers

What does workplace diversity mean to your organisation?

Is it the heart of your business strategy and a means to attract the best talent into your organisation - or do you think diversity and equality measures are 'nice things to do' or nothing more than an extension of political correctness.

Are organisations tackling unconscious bias? Are employers supporting staff with disabilities? Are we recruiting older workers?

For the first time HR has launched its Diversity Survey in a bid to find out what HR leaders believe to be the drivers of diversity in their business and what action employers are taking (or not taking) to nurture a diverse, equal and inclusive workforce.

HR's questionnaire will investigate all strands of diversity:

  • Sexual orientation
  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender
  • Race
  • Nationality
  • Religion

It is hoped the results of the survey will provide a definitive picture of the thinking around diversity in the workplace as the number of discrimination tribunals soars and boardroom equality features heavily on the Government's agenda.
