Benfield Motor Group has wheeled in a new employee benefits package for its 1,000 UK employees.

The motor dealer, working in association with The Personal Group, designed a package to help employees save money, make money go further and also offer personal support when needed.

The new benefits include access to a confidential support line (offering counselling and support for any issues that are causing an employee concern, whether financial, work and relationship), help with childcare costs, discounted retail vouchers, magazine subscriptions, theatre breaks, hospital and eye care plans and access to a voluntary group income protection scheme designed to provide a regular monthly income if an employee is unable to work due to illness or injury.

Joanna Hughes, HR manager at Benfield Motor Group, said: "As part of our drive to make Benfield a great place to work, we wanted to provide our employees with a wide range of benefits which were low cost but great value and which they could all take advantage of.

"We are able to offer our staff discounts on a range of products and services, such as gym memberships, home insurance and, most excitingly, a voluntary group income protection plan that we hope they will find useful and valuable."
